Our rent-to-own plans are made just for you!
You can start by renting a shamisen for one month to see how it feels.
If you fall in love with it, continue with our 12-month rent-to-own plan—after twelve months of rental payments (including the first month), the shamisen will be yours to keep.
Perfect for learners who want to practice more, explore freely, and grow with their shamisen.

Strings are consumables; the renter is responsible for replacement costs. (We ensure the strings are in good condition at the time of rental.)

If any accessory is damaged, the renter will be charged the original replacement price.

Liability

The shamisen and its accessories are rented based on their current value as stated in the rental agreementâ.

The renter is responsible for any damage resulting from improper use, up to the stated value.

We recommend that renters obtain personal liability insurance.

Any pre-existing defects will be clearly noted in advance.
Storage & Handling
The shamisen is a delicate traditional instrument that requires careful handling.
To ensure its longevity and prevent damage, please follow the guidelines:

Store the shamisen at room temperature.

Do not leave the shamisen in a vehicle, even for a short duration, as excessive heat can cause damage.
â

Keep the shamisen away from heaters, radiators, and any other sources of direct heat.
â

Avoid high humidity and all contact with water.
â

The bachi should be held properly during use. Do not press the tip against the skin of the instrument, as this may cause damage.
â

Always remove the bridge (koma) after each practice session to prevent undue stress on the skin.

This rental plan is valid within Finland only.â

If you plan to take the instrument abroad during the rental period, please inform us in advance to arrange a separate agreement.
