This piece is coated with 100% natural urushi lacquer. After finishing, it can take 1–3 months for the urushiol (a natural component in lacquer) to fully evaporate. During this time, people with sensitive skin may experience irritation.
 
If any skin reaction occurs, stop using the product and consult a medical professional.
 
Also, please note that the color of urushi may change slightly depending on the season and will gradually become brighter over time. This is a natural and beautiful feature of authentic lacquerware.
